Best of Luck Dude Answered by Soccy M - Wed Mar 18 09:57:18 2009 Is there a way to keep a virus from spreading on a computer network? Q. For example, I use a server to host my website, but it's also connected to about 5 other computes. (It's the only way they all can stay connected - It's a school.) But when one computer gets a virus, the virus goes throughout the network until it gets to my server and onto my website. How can I stop this? Asked by Jamar - Tue Apr 28 22:41:33 2009 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. A firewall might help, but it would have to be tuned to block bad stuff from its net-mates yet allow good stuff through. Good luck. Answered by The Phlebob - Tue Apr 28 22:52:17 2009 About getting a job as a Computer Network specialist?
Q. What does the employer look for in the interview? I am half way done with my computer network specialist degree at my community college. Is it hard to get a job? What is the work like? Do I need experience or certifications? My degree requires me to take either 3 credit co-op work experience, journey man card or standard industry examination.? Can you tell me about these three requirements? Is the 3 credit co-op work experience "experience"? What advice can you give me about the computer networking field? Etc? Asked by live and learn - Sat May 29 20:45:46 2010 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. I worked it for 30 years and this field is constantly evolving. You may want to concentrate to get a Cisco CCNP Certification but the big thing today is a security clearance. Unfortunately the fastest way to get one today is to join the military where you can earn one in less than 2 years. Then you can get a job at a NSA certified place making about 70K to start. You will also need to carry your degree out to a masters and make your mind up that in this field you will be going to some type of schooling the rest of your career.
